Who I am

What I collect through the contact form, and why

When you send a message through the contact form, I keep what you enter:

  • Your name.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your email address, if you add it.
  • Your message.
  • Attachments, if you attach files.
  • Your preferred contact method.
  • The service you chose, if you chose one.
  • The time you agreed to this policy.

I use this data to understand your business's situation and reply to your message, to contact you by the method you prefer, and to record your consent. I do not use it for other purposes without your permission.

Visit statistics

The site uses privacy-friendly statistics that do not rely on cookies:

  • No advertising cookies, and no tracking across other websites.
  • IP addresses are not stored.
  • Instead, an anonymous identifier that changes every day is derived from the IP address and the browser type; it cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next.
  • The results are used only as aggregated statistics, such as the number of visits to each page.

Because these statistics use no cookies and do not identify you, they run without a consent banner. If consent is switched on in future, a banner will let you accept or decline them before any visit is counted.

Email

Confirmations and replies by email are sent through the provider Postmark, part of ActiveCampaign, which processes the email address and the message content in order to deliver it.

How long data is kept

  • Contact form submissions and email correspondence: up to 24 months.
  • Raw statistics data: up to 13 months, after which only daily totals remain.

Sharing data

I do not sell your data. I share it only with the service providers needed to run the site, namely the hosting provider and the email delivery provider, and only as far as they need it to do their work.

Protecting data

I take reasonable measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and limiting access to those who need it. Even so, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

You may ask to:

  • See the data I hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate.
  • Delete it.
  • Withdraw your consent.
